Stress, Haggard, Tired, A Dream Come True

There are two tragedies in life, one is to lose your heart’s desires and one is to gain it. If it takes a lot of pain in order to gain my heart’s desire then I say give me tragedies. If you come to think about it, pain is temporary, it does goes away because time heals pain, and it can be cured but happiness last a life time and no one can take that away from you.

Being an overall student chair is hard work; being an overall student chair whose programs (Science Club 1st General Assembly and Lecture Forum and The Search For Mr. and Ms. Science And Technology) are back to back is suicide! Imagine your brain being split into two with a chain saw! That’s what it feels like to me. Fortunately I managed to survive and hold myself together. Fortunately I managed to lead both programs to success.

I kept saying, “If it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be”, the motto and favorite quote of B.S. Biology 3A. It’s different from the quote “bahala na”. The difference is “Bahala na” is hoping for the best while doing nothing or not giving your all while “If it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be” is giving your all and doing your best and whatever the result is, it’s up God to decide if we truly deserve it.

I wouldn’t say that both programs were a success all because of me. I got a lot of people to thank for. This wouldn’t be a success and all of this wouldn’t happen if it wasn’t for them.

First and foremost of course I want to thank God for giving me the courage, hope and strength to handle these two programs.

Secondly, I want to thank my family especially my sister Steph, yes you STEPH! Thank you for all the prayers, support and always being there for me when I need help which was ALWAYS and about EVERYTHING! Hahahaha..

Thirdly, the advisers, Mrs. E. Jean R. Ramirez and Ms. Chona G. Esposo, whose names I got to fully memorize, even their middle initial for all the endless letters we have to make. Thank you for all the advice, guidance and knowledge. I’ve learned so much from the two mentors during the process like giving importance to all the small details because they too are equally important and time management is always the key. Most importantly I am forever grateful to them for believing in me.

Lastly, I would like to thank “DRAMGCS”, classmates, B.S. Psychology 4A, committees and their members and the CEU Science Club’s officers, thank you so much for your time, help, cooperation and dedication to the two programs. Congratulations and a job well done!!!!!! I’m so proud of all of you. I am forever grateful. Till the next activity! =p May your continuous support never end.

By now, you may finally notice that I watch too much, “Golden Globe, MTV, The Academy, Teen Choice, etc….” awards on TV =p
